Harine Lee-Gannon
Director & Co-Founder | STEAM Specialist Tutor
Hello, I am Harine Lee-Gannon, the Director and Co-Founder of HLG STEAMist Education. As the Director and Co-Founder, I bring a wealth of expertise with over nine years of experience in private tutoring. My academic journey is marked by a Bachelor of Biomedical Science (Pre-Health) major, for which I received an academic excellence scholarship, underscoring my commitment and passion for science. As a qualified biochemist, my foundation is solidly rooted in the intricate workings of the molecular world.
Currently, I am expanding my knowledge and skills by pursuing a dual master's degree in Cancer Science and Education-STEM in Education Specialisation. This combination of advanced studies enables me to merge cutting-edge scientific research with innovative educational practices, allowing for the development of a curriculum that is both groundbreaking and effective.
At HLG STEAMist Education, we are dedicated to revolutionising the way children approach STEM subjects. Understanding the unique interests and capabilities of each student, we emphasize personalised lesson planning that aligns academic concepts with individual interests. Our mission is to make learning an enjoyable and engaging experience, ensuring that every child feels joyful and enthusiastic about tackling STEM challenges.
In addition to my academic and professional qualifications, I hold a current Blue Card (working with children), a National Police Check, and certifications in CPR and First Aid, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all students under our care. These credentials underscore my dedication not only to education but also to the wellbeing and security of every child we teach.
By creating a positive and stimulating learning atmosphere, we aim to inspire a new generation of scientists, engineers, and innovators to explore their potential and achieve greatness.

Harriet Lee-Gannon
Co-Founder | Early Education Specialist
My name is Harriet Lee-Gannon, education specialist and the co-founder of HLG STEAMist Education. With a robust eight years of experience in early childhood education, my professional path has been rich and varied, caring for children ranging in age from 8 months to 12 years. While I have spent a significant portion of these years focusing on the developmental needs and care of toddlers aged 1-2 within a daycare environment, my expertise and passion encompass the entire spectrum of childhood development.
I hold a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care, complemented by certifications in First Aid and CPR, ensuring a secure and nurturing space for every child I have the pleasure of working with. My qualifications are further supported by a Blue Card and Police Check, affirming my dedication to maintaining a safe and trustworthy environment for all.
Working with children is not just my profession—it's my calling. There's an indescribable joy in being an integral part of children's developmental journey, celebrating their achievements and witnessing the milestones they reach. The relationships and bonds I form with the families and the children are the cornerstone of my approach, providing a personal touch that is both rewarding and fulfilling.
At the core of my educational philosophy is a deep commitment to the principles outlined in the United Nations Convention on the Rights of The Child. This commitment shapes my care and teaching strategies, ensuring that I honour and advocate for the rights, individuality, and needs of every child. Inspired by Vygotsky’s Zone of Proximal Development, I focus on creating stimulating, safe, and enjoyable learning environments that encourage children to explore and grow through guided interaction and responsive caregiving.
HLG STEAMist Education is dedicated to delivering a curriculum that blends play-based learning with STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) principles, tailored to meet the developmental needs of children across a wide age range. My goal is to foster not just academic skills but also to support the emotional and social growth of each child, setting them on a path to a bright and successful future. I invite you to join us on this extraordinary journey, where we'll empower your child to explore, learn, and thrive with confidence and joy, backed by my extensive experience and passion for early childhood education.
